Admission Guidelines
We are delighted that you have chosen our university for your further studies. Below, we would like to draw your attention to important points regarding the admission process for international students.
Submitting Your Application
Applicants wishing to study in any of the programs and levels should first visit the application submission section. By completing your personal and educational information and uploading the necessary documents, you can submit your application to the International Student Admissions Office at our university. We kindly ask prospective students to follow this link to submit their admission application. Additionally, for information regarding the various stages of the international student admission process, please refer to this document.
Required Documents
Applicants must first submit their application through the designated system by completing the electronic admission form for the International Student Admissions Office at the university. The essential documents required to complete the admission form include the applicant's previous academic degree(s), transcripts, passport, and a photograph. Other documents (such as letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, etc.) that demonstrate the applicant's personal and academic capabilities are optional but may assist in the admission process or obtaining a scholarship. It is important to note that all submitted documents must be in Persian or English or translated into one of these two languages.
Student Recruitment Process
After receiving an applicant's request, the application is sent to an admissions specialist for an initial review within a timeframe of 1 to 3 months. Following this step, and upon approval of the applicant's file, it is forwarded to the Admissions Committee for a detailed evaluation. The committee may schedule one or two academic interviews with the applicant if necessary, based on the documentation and required assessments. Upon successful completion of this stage, the applicant will officially receive an admission letter from the university. For a detailed overview of the various stages of the international student recruitment process, please refer to this chart. If you have any questions or require clarification, please contact us via email at admissions@mazaheb.ac.ir.

Consular Procedures
After entering Iran and completing final registration at the university, arrangements for your residence will be made. It is important to note that family members of the student (including spouse and children) can receive dependent residence permits as long as the student is enrolled and holds legal residency. All consular procedures for the student and their family will be managed by the university's consular office from start to finish. For more information, please contact us at admissions@mazaheb.ac.ir.
- Spouses of female students are not eligible for dependent residence permits. Given changes in consular regulations, please inquire about the latest updates regarding these regulations before proceeding by contacting us at admissions@mazaheb.ac.ir.
Persian Language
Studies at higher education institutions in Iran are conducted in Persian (with some exceptions in certain universities), and non-Persian-speaking applicants must have adequate proficiency in all four language skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking). Therefore, providing a Persian language certificate (SAMFA) is mandatory for non-Persian-speaking students. If you do not know Persian, you must first learn the language at one of the Persian language centers approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. Upon notifying us, we will provide you with a list of centers, study conditions, costs, and any other necessary guidance.
* Citizens of Afghanistan and Tajikistan are exempt from this requirement.
