Publications

One of the main concerns of the university since its establishment has been research, education, the training of activists and researchers in Islamic ecumenism, as well as the dissemination of the concepts and components of unity in the Islamic world. This intellectual approach has led part of the institution’s structure to focus on this important task through its publications and the creation of specialized and suitable content. This includes publishing books for the public, textbooks for students and scholars, and providing the necessary infrastructure for the submission and publication of articles in journals with various strategies, public magazines, and more. The university aims to lead scholarly activities that promote the culture of Islamic ecumenism both within the country and across the Islamic world.

To this end, the scientific-research collaboration of the International University of Islamic Denominations’ publishing department includes the creation, compilation, and editing of authentic academic and research works in the field of ecumenical studies and peaceful human-Islamic coexistence, support for translation projects from various languages into Persian, support for valuable theses and dissertations of domestic and international graduate students, as well as support for organizing conferences, meetings, and scientific roundtables for critiquing and introducing prestigious research works in the field of ecumenism and unity. Additionally, the publication of scholarly articles in the university’s scientific-research journals involves collaboration with scholars, researchers, and activists in the fields of ecumenism, philosophy, mysticism, and religions.

As a result of these actions and collaborations over nearly three decades, more than 65 titles have been published, with 23 percent of the publications attributed to the university’s faculty members and 15 percent to students and graduates of the International University of Islamic Denominations.
