Office of Growth, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Office of Growth, Innovation and Entrepreneurship began its activities in 1403 with the aim of developing the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and establishing effective links among the university, society, industry, and governmental institutions.

With a focus on social entrepreneurship, innovation in the humanities and Islamic sciences, and the development of soft technologies, the Office seeks to utilize the academic capacities of faculty members, students, graduates, and researchers to transform ideas and scientific achievements into products, services, businesses, and effective solutions to real societal problems.

Its primary mission is to transform university knowledge, research, and ideas into social and economic value and knowledge-based products, while creating opportunities for the growth and development of technology-based teams, startups, and innovative businesses in the humanities and Islamic sciences.

Other missions include empowering students, graduates, and faculty members in entrepreneurship, business and technology management; developing social entrepreneurship; providing innovative solutions to cultural, social, and economic challenges; and promoting creativity, innovation, responsibility, and teamwork.

The Office also provides specialized services including infrastructure for innovative teams, training and empowerment, specialized consulting, financial support and investment facilitation, media and branding services, administrative and registration support, and assistance with participation in national and international exhibitions and events.

Its areas of specialization include soft technologies and creative industries, innovation in the humanities and Islamic sciences, social entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence in the humanities, knowledge-based businesses in the humanities, cultural economy and cultural industries, peaceful coexistence and academic cooperation in the Islamic world, new media and digital content production, and education and learning technologies.

The Office’s vision is to become one of the country’s leading specialized centers for social entrepreneurship, innovation in the humanities and Islamic sciences, and the development of soft technologies.
