Research Management

The Research Management of the International University of Islamic Denominations is one of the principal components of the Vice Presidency for Research and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and supporting the university’s research activities.

The Management works to develop and enhance scientific research, support researchers and faculty members, strengthen the relationship between research and societal needs, and expand the university’s scientific and research activities at national and international levels.

With a focus on knowledge production and development, support for research projects and activities, organization of research processes, improvement of research quality and impact, and creating opportunities for the commercialization and practical application of research achievements, the Research Management seeks to mobilize the university’s academic capacities in line with its mission, particularly in Islamic studies, Islamic rapprochement, and rapprochement-oriented knowledge.

It also provides an appropriate platform for interaction between the university, society, academic and research centers, executive bodies, and cultural and social institutions, thereby facilitating the transformation of research capacities into impactful and problem-oriented achievements.

Specialized Units

Office of University–Society Relations:
Develops effective links between the university and society, identifies research issues and needs, and directs the university’s academic capacities toward addressing real-world problems and the needs of executive institutions.

Office of Growth, Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
Supports innovative ideas, develops entrepreneurial activities, identifies and nurtures research talents, and facilitates the transformation of ideas and research achievements into products, services, and practical projects.

Journals Office:
Responsible for policymaking, organization, and support of the university’s scholarly journals and for improving their quality, academic credibility, and indexing in accordance with national and international standards.

Scientometrics Unit:
Monitors and analyzes scientific and research indicators, evaluates the research performance of the university, faculty members, and academic departments, and provides analytical data for research policymaking and decision-making.

Office of Scientific Conferences and Seminars:
Plans, coordinates, and organizes specialized seminars, academic chairs, conferences, and research events, while providing opportunities for scholarly interaction and dialogue among faculty members, researchers, students, and experts.

Through these offices and a network-based, problem-oriented approach, the Research Management seeks to complete the research cycle—from identifying problems and generating ideas to conducting research, disseminating findings, engaging with society, and utilizing scientific achievements—and further strengthen the university’s position as an academic reference in Islamic studies, Islamic rapprochement, and rapprochement-oriented knowledge.
