Practical Theology Journal

“Practical Theology” is an academic discipline and an interdisciplinary branch of theology that seeks to examine the relevance and influence of religion and sects in contemporary societies. Therefore, it covers a wide range of research areas. The distinct feature of practical theology is that it derives its issues and research topics from the context of everyday life, offering theological analyses and interpretations of cultural, individual, and social matters. It critically and diagnostically addresses various issues, proposing solutions based on religious teachings that both facilitate faithful living and open new avenues for addressing the challenges of non-religious life. Recognizing the increasing importance and necessity of addressing topics related to practical theology, the International University of Islamic Denominations (IUID) has selected key themes such as theology and politics, theology and psychology, theology and sociology, theology and the environment, theology and ethics, theology and health, theology and economics, theology and the meaning of life, theology and education, theology and social rights, and theology and management.
