Emphasis on Developing Scientific and Technological Relations Between Japanese and Iranian Universities During Meeting Between Japanese Ambassador and University Head

On Wednesday, March 6 (Esfand 16), His Excellency Mr. Tsukada Tamaki, Ambassador of Japan, accompanied by Mr. Akihide Doyo, First Secretary of the Embassy, visited the International University and met with its Head.

During this one-hour meeting, the Japanese Ambassador emphasized the commitment of Japan—and its Embassy—to fostering scientific and technological relations between Japanese and Iranian universities, noting that his visit was a continuation of this approach.

In turn, the University Head extended a warm welcome, highlighting the long-standing and enduring ties between the Iranian and Japanese peoples. Following a comprehensive introduction to the University, he outlined potential areas for scientific and cultural collaboration with Japanese institutions—specifically within the University’s core mission of promoting Islamic-humanistic convergence and coexistence—and presented several actionable proposals.

It was ultimately agreed that the dialogue and cooperation between the two sides would continue, with the aim of effectively realizing the proposed initiatives and objectives.
