Meeting Between the Japanese Ambassador and the President of the International University of Islamic Denominations (IUID) His Excellency Mr. Tsukada Tamaki, Ambassador of Japan, accompanied by Mr. Akihide Doyo, First Secretary of the Embassy, visited the International University of Islamic Denominations (IUID) on Wednesday and held a meeting with the University President. During the meeting, the Ambassador underscored Japan’s and its embassy’s strong commitment to enhancing scientific and technological cooperation between universities in Japan and Iran, stating that his presence at the IUIU was a testament to this ongoing approach. The President of the university, after extending a formal welcome, highlighted the deep-rooted and enduring shared interests between the Iranian and Japanese people. He provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s mission and objectives, emphasizing areas for potential scientific and cultural collaboration with Japanese universities, particularly within the framework of the university’s mission of promoting Islamic-humanistic convergence and coexistence. Several actionable proposals were also put forth. It was mutually agreed that discussions and cooperation between both parties would continue, with the goal of effectively pursuing the proposed initiatives.
